CLASSICS ANEW was founded by Janko Lam, a Hong Kong designer who started her career creating traditional Chinese costumes for stage and TV dramas. Inspired by the rich history and culture of Chinese clothing, she pursued a career in Oriental fashion design and specialised in Qipao & Cheongsam craft. She is committed to preserving and promoting Chinese fashion and culture, and actively shares her knowledge with people around the world.

In 2014, Janko Lam established CLASSICS ANEW, where we explore contemporary oriental aestheticism and are renowned for our sophisticated yet simplistic designs. Our Denim Qipao, a masterpiece created by Janko Lam, has become our signature.

At CLASSICS ANEW, we take pride in our made-to-order collection, "THE ONE," which is a testament to our exquisite artisan craftsmanship and has gained recognition from prestigious retailers and celebrities worldwide. Our designs have been showcased in major exhibitions across France (Paris Louvre), Germany, Japan, Vietnam, China (Shanghai), Hong Kong, and Macau. We are honoured that our work has been added to the permanent collection of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.
